The Grove Inn is centrally located near San Francisco's Civic Center and the tranquil Alamo Square. Our quiet and comfortable Italianate-Victorian style inn was built in the 1800's and has been meticulously renovated and maintained. We are well served by bus lines, or a five minute taxi ride to the City Hall, the Opera House, the Davies Symphony Hall and many other major attractions.

The Grove Inn is located in the Alamo Square historic area. We are just two minutes on foot from "postcard row", six beautifully restored Victorian houses against the backdrop of the San Francisco skyline - the most famous and classic San Francisco scene.

Our eighteen cheerful and comfortable rooms are tastefully decorated. They all include queen sized beds, direct-dial telephone, TV, high ceilings and sunny bay-style windows. A continental breakfast is included in the price of your room.

Your hosts, Rosetta and Klaus Zimmermann have been serving the public for over twenty years. They are happy to provide travel tips for the entire San Francisco bay area.
